Welcome to the Town of Badger. Badger is a town in north-central Newfoundland, Canada. Nestled in the heart of Central Newfoundland, Badger is the gateway to Newfoundland’s deep interior. Surrounded by three rivers that are teaming with Atlantic salmon, it really is a place you’ll love.

The community has its roots in the primary recourse industry of logging and Badger is famous for its large spring log drives. Come visit our heritage park and experience our aboriginal history. We are very proud of the new Cst. Moss Memorial, another twist on our history you’ll love to see. Take a walk on the Loggers Way Walking Trail and pick wild berries on your trek.

While all modern conveniences are readily available, the wonders of nature are but a stone’s throw away. From the moose that can be seen at play in the nearby forests and to spectacular salmon rivers that flow to our shores, to hiking, ATV and cross country skiing trails that carve through our hills and valleys, you’ll find some of the world’s best scenery right here in our backyard.
