The Mayor and Council of Badger takes this opportunity to extend special Christmas greetings, to its citizens and staff.
This is the time when we celebrate one of the joyous events of the Christian Calendar— Christmas.
This is the period when Christians around the World remember the birth of Jesus the Christ, who gave salvation to all.
The council is urging all citizens to think about the deeper meaning of this event.
Christ came with a mission, a sense of purpose and full knowledge of his role and ultimate destiny.
We, too, have a mission to protect and care for our natural, economic, social, cultural and spiritual environment in addition to spread love, goodwill and peace to all mankind. One way by which we can help perpetuate peace is to instill a more neighbourly attitude towards those around us.
