The Town of Badger is directly responsible for the control of all emergency operations in the municipality of Badger in close co-operation with Fire & Emergency Services of the Department of Municipal affairs.

An Emergency council committee appointed and approved by council together with dually appointed emergency measures coordinator, will oversee, control and co-ordinate all emergency operations within the municipality in close cooperation with FES.
